MEDICAL CHOOSE BRANDON FOR OT |
|
| A higher standard of health care is being sort out by the middle income population of India. The last decade has seen corporate and private health care in India balloon. To go with this more and new sophisticated pattern of health care, Philips Medical Systems India ( a wholly owned subsidiary of Philips Netherlands ) has selected Brandon Medical as their partner for the supply of operating theatre lighting to high-end installations. After reviewing the products available from other European, American and Japanese manufacturers, Philips chose Brandon's Galaxy ULTRA range of products. They wanted top quality performance medical lighting, to be installed in the most illustrious medical institutions throughout India. With reputedly the largest population in the world ( Overtaking China at an estimated 1.1 billion ) and a high incidence of disease, India takes its health care serious. According to observers, India's healthcare industry is expected to grow by around 13% until 2005. India offers substantial opportunities for suppliers of advanced medical technology, and this is directly where Brandon Medical steps in. Philips wanted the best for their Indian products and Brandon's Galaxy ULTRA lighting was a natural selection. After four years of expansive growth, this was Brandon's choice to break into the Indian Sub-continent. Managing Director, Graeme Hall, said: This is an exciting deal for both Brandon medical and Philips. Brandon will benefit from a premier league in this market and Philips will get the high performance products they have been looking for. |
