is based around a theme, this year it is 'Pirates of the West
Riding'. What that means to you will dictate your fancy dress
act on the Saturday evening ......
Running Order
Arrive on Friday from Lunchtime onwards - socialise with friends
old and new
Black Tie dinner with live act and disco to end the evening
Saturday moring is recovery time
Saturday afternoon entertainment is To Be Confirmed
Saturday evening is your chance to perform!!!!!!

Rules for the
Performances
Each act has a maximum time of two minutes.
Large free-standing props are not allowed. Only items which
can be carried by one person and will fit through a standard
door frame will be allowed.
Don't forget that children will be watching.
No bribery of the judges.
No fondling of the judges.
All tables are eligible to win the prizes except the Area
Chairman's table.
Prizes for the best 3 acts.
Prize for best costume.
Each table should provide a CD of their music to accompany
their routine. The CD must be passed to Adult Entertainment
(Marcus or Jeannette Turner) by 12 noon on the Saturday.
Please phone or email Marcus Turner to register your choice
of music. The first table to register a piece of music will
have sole right to use that music. So book early.
Scoring of the Performance.
Each act will be scored out of a hundred: Performance (40);
Costumes (30); Attention to theme (30); Marks will then be
deducted for any rule breaking. |
